Here are some photos from the Haunted Hustle, a cross country 5k put on by the Atlanta Track Club. A 5k is so short that I wasn't able to move along the course like I normally do. A couple weeks ago I did another self portrait session. I tend to do these right before a major race that I'll be doing. It helps me focus and motivate myself. It also gives me some confidence going into the race. We all have doubts when it comes to what we can physically do. I like to picture myself looking like a professional. I finished 2010 being published in RE Magazine. This was my third assignment for RE Magazine and although my images were used for the story, I didn't get the cover. Sometimes the subject featured has an image that she would rather use or likes better. This is the first time I've been to the Wings Over Atlanta Air Show. I've always wanted to go, but have always missed it. When I found out the date for this year, I made a point to put it on my calendar. I've always wanted to see the famous U.S. Blue Angels perform. I remember how I used this event as an exercise last year and thought I would do it again.  The idea is to keep it simple and only shot with a 50 mm lens. So all zooming in and out would be done with my feet. Wow, time has been going by quick. I went to the South Atlanta Flickr meet last month and there's another one tomorrow and I haven't posted images from the last meet. So here goes. This has become a annual trip during the Labor Day weekend. Shot a couple races for the Atlanta Track Club a couple of weeks ago. This past Saturday December, 12th was the big day. Because we were dealing with privacy issues, there will be no images of families photographed on the blog. I had a shoot last week at the Nolan House in Bostwick, GA. An interesting location, one I'll have to go back and visit. The house is abandoned, but for the most part structurally sound. As I mentioned in the previous post, there were a lot of images I really liked. I didn't want to fill the blog with all the images, so I created another slideshow. Still trying to streamline the creation of slideshows. This time I took all the images into iPhoto and exported the slideshow. Then added the open/close animation & music in Adobe Premiere.
